As a former therapist and documentarian, I’ve always had a need to capture real life. In graduate school, the first book I would read was titled “On Being A Therapist” by Jeffrey Kottler. It captures the real life thoughts and feelings of a therapist while he experiences the trenches of the mental health field. When I was making this Docu-Porn, I don’t know why, but I was thinking about this book. Hence the title. I’ve been an undercover and then out-loud professional and lifestyle Mistress for over six years. This very first Docu-Porn of mine is a marriage of three professions: film, psychology, and story-telling. But really, at its depth, it’s a glimpse into the thoughts and feelings of a real life Mistress.
